Celebrating Freedom, Joy and Togetherness

A heart-touching Independence Day celebration was organised at the Welfare Home for Children, Sarita Vihar, in collaboration with Ayaas Prayas. The celebration brought together children, caregivers and organisers for a day filled with happiness, creativity and patriotic spirit.

The little ones, including adorable toddlers, added charm to the occasion with their dance performances, patriotic songs and a special role play depicting different freedom fighters. Their enthusiastic performances beautifully reflected the spirit of India’s freedom struggle and made the celebration truly memorable.

As part of the celebration, an Art Competition was also organised around two meaningful themes focused on women empowerment. The children expressed their thoughts and creativity through colourful artwork, showcasing their imagination and understanding of the themes.

The event concluded with an award ceremony, where the children were recognised and appreciated for their creativity, participation and efforts.

It was a simple yet meaningful celebration filled with smiles, warmth, love and togetherness. Sharing these special moments with the children made the Independence Day celebration even more memorable and meaningful.
