Reading and writing are two of the most important skills in a child’s learning journey. To encourage students to develop these skills in an engaging way, a Newspaper Reading and Writing Activity was organized for children.
During the activity, students were asked to carefully read different news articles from newspapers and then rewrite them on the sheets provided. This exercise helped children improve their reading habits, increase their vocabulary, and better understand sentence formation and writing structure.
The activity also focused on improving neat handwriting, spelling accuracy, and attention to detail. By reading real-world news content, students learned how information is presented and developed a greater interest in reading.
The session created an interactive learning environment where children actively participated with enthusiasm and concentration. It not only polished their reading and writing abilities but also helped build confidence and communication skills among students.
Such activities play an important role in making learning enjoyable, practical, and meaningful for young minds.
