Ayaas Prayas, in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club of Delhi Greater Kailash, successfully organized an impactful Drug Awareness Program aimed at educating and inspiring children and youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse through creativity, learning, and meaningful participation.

The program was conducted in multiple phases and witnessed enthusiastic participation from young minds. In the preliminary round, participants presented 38 short films and 16 PowerPoint presentations focused on the theme of drug abuse awareness. After careful evaluation, 13 films and 6 PPT presentations were shortlisted for the final round and showcased during a special screening session.

To further educate participants, a highly informative Substance Abuse Workshop was conducted by Rotarian Dr. Priyanka, who sensitized children and youth about the dangers of addiction and encouraged them to make healthy and responsible life choices.

The event beautifully combined awareness with artistic expression. Participants actively engaged in filmmaking workshops, short film screenings, energetic dance performances, and a powerful Nukkad Natak presented by the children. Their performances reflected confidence, creativity, and a strong commitment to spreading positive social messages among society.

As part of the initiative’s “triple impact awareness” approach, reusable steel bottles carrying Inner Wheel Drug Awareness messages were distributed to participants. This thoughtful initiative also promoted water conservation, sanitation awareness, and sustainable living practices. Refreshment boxes were distributed to all participating children as a gesture of encouragement and appreciation.

A special screening of the shortlisted entries was organized at the Ayaas Prayas premises. Three outstanding young participants were selected and awarded for their meaningful storytelling and exceptional efforts by esteemed guests DC-301 Ms. Deepika Bali and Dist. ISO Ms. Harmeet Sehgal. District Chairman Ms. Deepika Bali also motivated participants by presenting cash prizes to encourage their creativity and social awareness efforts.

The event began with a soulful Saraswati Vandana, creating a graceful and inspiring atmosphere for the entire program.
